We love that our customers are interested...thank you!  Our business truly is a family affair and our goal is to use the olfactory senses to encourage a cherished memory or feeling. For our signature scents (COMFORT & HAPPY), a test candle was blended & poured.  I then included my family in the final name selection.  My youngest son smelled the candles and told me, in one word, how he felt and what memory came to mind, when he smelled it.  Other candle names were selected to reflect the natural benefits of the ingredients.

The added bonus of using all natural ingredients.  We use the purest fragrance oils and 100% soy wax.  Certain fragrance oils are already naturally tinted which in turn creates a tint to the end result.  Other fragrance oils will change the color consistency slightly when blended and heated with 100% soy wax.  Enjoy the beauty of this natural bonus!!

This is a great question.  When lighting an RNCI candle for the first time, no trim is necessary.  However, moving forward,  it is recommended to trim your wick before each relight.  This will ensure a more consistent burn and a beautiful fragrance throw.  Trimming a wooden wick is a little different and much easier than a regular cotton wick...no scissors are necessary.  Before lighting and only if the wick is cold, take your pointer finger and thumb,  gently squeeze the tip of the wick...the excess wick will naturally crumble off in to your finger tips.  For esthetic purposes, it is not recommended to leave this excess in the wax bed.  Please dispose of the excess.  Your candle is now ready to relight.

The FIRST BURN - It is recommended that the first burn be a minimum of 2-3 hours.  This ensures an even wax pool for the next time you relight your candle.

RELIGHTING an RNCI candle - Trim your candle before each re-light  (Reference "How do I trim a wooden wick?").

*Keep candles free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings.  Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface.  Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
